HILTON HOUSTON POST OAK
Renovation of this icon building in Houston’s Uptown Galleria area was in keeping with the contemporary design of legendary architect I.M. Pei in one of his few hotel concepts. The project’s scope involved repositioning the property to the Hilton brand, elevating the status of the hotel in its market and solidifying its leadership role in Uptown Houston. The design is upscale contemporary at its base yet is extremely comfortable and inviting to guests—both business travelers and leisure visitors. Portfolio’s work included all 448 guestrooms and suites, guest corridors and the lobby, front desk areas and ballroom of the hotel. Clean lines and bold colors mixed with the warmth of dark woods provides an elegant and urbane compliment to the cast concrete architecture.
